On April 16, 1992, Pan Su passed away. Pan Su is the wife of Mr. Zhang Boju, a famous contemporary female painter and collector. She studied flowers and birds in her early years, and turned to landscapes in her middle age. In her later years, she was adept at golden, green and green landscapes and snow landscapes. She is a famous painter of green and green landscapes in my country. Pan Suzeng and Zhang Daqian collaborated on painting twice. Her paintings are unique and have been exhibited many times at home and abroad. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, he served as a director of the Beijing Chinese Painting Research Association and a member of the Chinese Artists Association.
Pan Su was born in a scholarly family in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province in 1915. She has practiced painting, poetry, pipa, etc. since she was a child, and demonstrated her extraordinary artistic talent.
When she was 20 years old, she married Zhang Boju. With the help of her husband Zhang Boju, Pan Su formally learned painting at the age of 21. He first studied flower making from Zhu Deqing, and later collaborated with old painters Tao Xinru, Qi Jingxi, and Zhang Mengjia.
In the 1940s, Pan Su had already made her mark in the painting circle. He was especially good at meticulous and heavy-color landscape painting. He inherited the rigorous and rigorous style of Jin Bi Fei Ying, and became a famous green landscape painter in my country. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Pan Su always insisted on being at the forefront of artistic creation and continued to study ancient paintings. On April 15, 1992, Pan Su died in Beijing at the age of 77.
