With an airy and cool space, the lake has become a favorite place for many people in the capital, especially young people, during the holidays.
In the afternoon, the lake area in the urban area of Exchange City (Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi) has many people coming to have fun and relax. 
As noted by Zing, most people voluntarily wear masks when moving or sitting in groups, keeping their distance. 
“Because of the complicated epidemic situation, this year’s holiday I did not take my family to travel, but came here to relax. Every time I go, I also let my children wear masks, wash their hands carefully to disinfect their hands to protect them from harm. ensure safety,” said Mr. Chanh (Phu Dien). 
The lawn area at the lake is chosen by many families as a camping place and for children to play. Anh Hung, a resident of an apartment complex near the lake, canceled his tourist ticket to Da Nang and brought his family here to have fun. “I heard that there was a new Covid-19 case, so I was a bit worried, I don’t want to go to crowded tourist areas. If I don’t go out on this occasion, then on other occasions, I want to prioritize family health,” he said. 
Ngoc Anh and Van Giang (students of the University of Finance and Banking) often come to the lake to play. Two female students commented that this area has been more bustling recently after many people checked-in online. 
The group of friends born in 1998 chose the area near the lake as a place to eat and chat. The members said that their waste is collected in plastic bags and will be put in the trash before leaving. 
Ha (student of Diplomatic Academy) and Thao (student of University of Economics and Technology) came to the lake to play for the first time. “The scenery here is quite beautiful, so on the occasion of the holiday, the two decided to come here to relax and take pictures. To be safe, we all put on masks when we finished taking pictures,” Ha said. 
The later in the afternoon, the cooler it is, the more bustling the lake area is. The lawn is the place for many activities such as kite flying and shuttlecock kicking. Many children enjoy having a large space to run around. 
Van (25 years old) took her daughter out to enjoy the fresh air and took advantage of her children’s fun moments. “I originally planned to go back to my hometown but decided to stay at the last minute. Tomorrow, I also plan to just take her to an open place like this instead of a closed, crowded space,” she shared. 
In addition to being a place for people in the vicinity to walk and exercise, the lake area has recently become a place where many young people go to picnic or take pictures to check-in thanks to the beautiful scenery. Many girls invest in costumes and props when they come to take pictures. 
Thang (from Tuyen Quang) and Quynh (from Thanh Hoa) took advantage of the holidays to take pictures and then post them on photography exchanges. 
From Da Nang to Hanoi at the time when the epidemic was complicated, Mr. Khoi and Ms. Hanh could not visit many famous tourist attractions of the capital. However, thanks to an acquaintance’s introduction, the two were satisfied with an afternoon stroll at the lake. 
The paths around the lake are filled with people exercising. Mr. Hong, guard of the lake area, said that this place often has security forces reminding people not to ride motorbikes on the grass and maintain general hygiene. “Amid the complicated epidemic situation, I also often remind people to wear masks to protect themselves and those around them,” he said.
