Ha Tinh has been implementing many models and topics related to digital transformation in new rural construction (NTM), gradually meeting the Government’s national digital transformation requirements.
Smart weather station with iMetos technology attached to the automatic irrigation system of Mr. Dinh Phuc Tien’s family (Dong Tra village, Huong Tra commune, Huong Khe) Applying 4.0 technology in production and management In 2017, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Mr. Dinh Phuc Tien (Dong Tra village, Huong Tra commune, Huong Khe), invested 150 million VND to install iMetos smart weather station and system Automatic irrigation system to serve production at home garden (specializing in seedling nursery). This is a system that can forecast rainfall and rain time, alarm over-threshold rainfall, extreme temperatures such as hot, cold, cold, harmful cold, hoarfrost… with a service range of 5-20km. “Since the application of a weather forecast system combined with an automatic irrigation system, irrigation work is more active, the quality of seedlings is high, bringing more economic efficiency. Revenue from garden economic production in the past 5 years has averaged 1.2 – 1.5 billion VND/year. And this is also the model garden that won a special prize in the contest of model residential areas and provincial gardens in 2017 “- Mr. Dinh Phuc Tien said. 
Many gardeners and orange farms in Ha Tinh province have made traceability by electronic stamps. Many agricultural products from gardeners and farms such as: Phuc Trach pomelo; oranges: Khe May, Thuong Loc, Son Mai; Huong Son deer velvet and OCOP products in Ha Tinh province have been stamped with QR codes for traceability. From there, goods are easily connected to e-commerce trading floors and are available at many supermarkets. The application of scientific and technical progress to production is one of the five criteria for model gardens under criterion 20 (model residential area, model garden). This is a breakthrough, creative way of Ha Tinh, creating attraction and spread of technology application in production development and construction of new rural areas. By the end of 2020, Ha Tinh has over 600 standard model residential areas and over 6,000 standard gardens. 
The software “Ha Tinh New Rural Digital Data” stores information about new rural areas in digital form, people can easily monitor and supervise the construction of new rural areas. Along with the application to production, Ha Tinh is also a leading locality in the application of digital technology in the management and administration of the construction of new rural areas. In 2019, the Provincial Rural Rural Development Coordinating Office put into application the software “Ha Tinh New Rural Digital Data”, with the goal of storing information about rural rural activities in a digital form, people can easily follow them. Monitor and supervise construction activities. Provincial NTM Coordination Office is coordinating with KYC Solution Joint Stock Company to build a plan for digital transformation of NTMs in Ha Tinh. With the goal of building new rural areas increasingly in-depth, effective, practical and meeting the requirements of the Government’s national digital transformation, recently, Ha Tinh New Rural Coordination Office coordinated with a number of units on technology solutions to deploy digital transformation software, build smart residential areas and smart rural communities. Mr. Nguyen Khanh Toan, CEO of KYC Solution Joint Stock Company, said that the utility of digital transformation in smart NTMs will be piloted in Ha Tinh province, affecting many areas such as direct management. state public service level 3, level 4; strengthening the empowerment and participation of citizens in public management; impact on production technology (environmental sensors, automatic monitoring, high-tech agriculture, automatic irrigation control); impact on services (telemedicine services, online education and training, e-commerce)… According to the plan, in June 2021, Ha Tinh will pilot building 10 models of smart rural residential areas; initiate and build 2 smart new rural commune models; building 3 models of intelligent monitoring in a number of villages and communes in the province.
