Recently, Apple technology company said that they are starting to implement a program to support employees to vaccinate Covid-19 voluntarily right in their offices. An Apple spokesperson said the iPhone manufacturer is currently working with Walgreens Boots Alliance as a supplier and will open a website for employees to register and schedule injections. Apple was one of the first major Silicon Valley companies to launch a program to help its employees get vaccinated. Apple also encourages employees to get the Covid-19 vaccine and allows them to take leave to go to the clinic and to recover if symptoms occur after the injection. Apple also hopes its employees can return to offices soon after working remotely due to the pandemic. Last month, the Amazon Group also gave Covid-19 vaccines to frontline employees, starting in Missouri, Nevada and Kansas. Earlier this month, Germany’s largest private banking group, Deutsche Bank AG, became the first major bank in New York, US to say it would support Covid-19 vaccination staff at my office.
