However, Thanh Oai’s tourism development has not been commensurate with its potential due to limitations in transport infrastructure, parking lots at tourist attractions, public toilets, and souvenir shops. .. In 2021, the district will promote the implementation of tourism development investment projects such as: Building an eco-tourism area in the lagoon of Thanh Cao and Cao Vien communes; sightseeing, entertainment and recreation services along the Day River; project to expand tourism space Binh Da Festival; project of preserving and promoting cultural values of Cu Da ancient village… Along with that, the district promotes cooperation with travel companies to bring tourists to attractions and link with neighboring districts to connect routes and tourist attractions such as: Thuong Tin – Thanh Oai, My Duc – Chuong My – Ha Dong – Thanh Oai… in order to create many unique and attractive products, making Thanh Oai one of the the capital’s key tourist destination.
