To serve the education of Ha Jun (Jung Hyun Joon), Ji Yong’s stepson, the Hyowon family hired Kang Ja Kyung (Ok Ja Yeon) to be the boy’s personal tutor. The tutor often acts in excess, beyond her rights and responsibilities. Ja Kyung also has an affair with Ji Yong. When Hee Soo suggested firing the tutor, Ji Yong expressed disapproval because Ja Kyung is actually Ha Jun’s biological mother. The love scene was revealed to reveal the greedy nature of the young master Ji Yong. Even though he took Hee Soo as his wife, he still blatantly brought his old love back to live in the same house for convenience. Hee Soo is embarrassed to realize that she has been used as a screen for a long time for her husband and mistress to cover the eyes of the world. Not only failed as a husband, Ji Yong was also an irresponsible father. When stepmother Hee Soo and biological mother Ja Kyeong took each other to court to win custody of baby Ha Jun. Despite being the father, Ji Yong did not intervene to save the situation. He just kept silent “judging the mountain and fighting the tiger”. In the latest developments of Mine , the man’s nature was fully revealed. Ji Yong on the main road sat in the chair of the corporation’s chairman, not caring about the broken marriage or the fate of his son after the court’s ruling. Evil, intrigue and pervert are adjectives that most accurately describe the nature of Ji Yong’s character. Outsiders looking in will only see Sun Woo and Tae Oh as a model family. They are educated, successful, rich and have never raised their voices to each other. However, the guise of a devoted husband and exemplary father that Tae Oh wears is only to hide his morally corrupt nature. On the one hand, Tae Oh respects his wife, but on the other hand, he wants to deny her influence on his life and career. For years, Tae Oh has been secretly having an affair. Until things broke out, he had no regrets but also used love to justify wrongdoing. In the world of a greedy man, Tae Oh has the right to love two women at the same time. Not only making the audience angry because of his distorted view of love, but Tae Oh is also an on-screen nightmare because of his jealous nature and brute force. Right from episode 2, the sick husband beat Sun Woo brutally. Throughout the series, the violent acts aimed at Tae Oh’s ex-wife are repeated many times. The image of Lee Tae Oh’s husband on the screen became even more pathetic when he returned to Sun Woo, feeling reassured when he was having an affair with his ex-wife. Thought that the marriage with the lover had satisfied Tae Oh’s love fantasy, but it turned out that what the man loved so much before was just himself. Lee Tae Oh’s greed and selfishness eventually pushed the lives of two women and his children into a spiral of pain and hatred.
