On May 12, at the Ministry of Health, Deputy Minister Tran Van Thuan received 10,000 SARS-CoV-2 tests from Ampharco USA Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company awarded.

Test kit COVID-19 “AmphaBio HT- Hithroughput PCR COVID-19” is a product invested by Ampharco USA Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, research and development, according to technology transferred from Military Medical Academy, yes detected most of the strains of SARS-CoV-2 virus up to now. This kit has been licensed by the Ministry of Health to circulate in Decision No. 2263 / QD-BYT dated 7/5/2021. During the research and production process, the kit has been tested and clinically proven on 2,000 patient samples. This is the result of more than a year of continuous efforts of the team of scientists and partners of Ampharco USA Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company to promptly respond to the Government’s policy of “anti-epidemic like anti-enemy”. . To ensure the preservation conditions of the 10,000 tests mentioned above, the Ministry of Health has also asked the Company to assist with storage and preservation. Based on the situation of epidemic developments and recommendations of units and localities, the Ministry of Health will decide to allocate the above test numbers to medical facilities to serve the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. .
