The university campus is as dreamy as the movies

The space lined with green trees and filled with flowers has made the campus of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City (Thu Duc campus) has become the ideal ‘virtual living’ place for students.
Early in the morning, when the school is not yet crowded, is the ideal time for students to walk on the path leading from the front gate to the interior of the classroom. This small road has a circular shape and on the surface are tiles paved with cement. Along the two sides of the path, the trees constantly shading, making the fresh air seem to energize students to start a new day.

Students often check-in in the green spaces of the school. Just set foot in the front gate of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, on these days, you will see a field filled with brilliant orange flowers of fake star flowers. From the vacant land full of weeds, the Green Tree Ancestors of the Thu Duc establishment planted fake star flowers mixed with sunflowers. This garden makes the school landscape brighter and more prominent. The world of fake star flowers is so beautiful that the teachers in the school and the students can’t help but enjoy. The photos under the theme “Youth in the school garden” were born here. The romantic orchid garden is a place for many students to visit and take pictures. In response to the “Green University” program launched by the school, teachers and students studying at the school have contributed orchid pots of all colors such as purple, yellow, white … to this garden. . The garden is designed with a pillar frame, a canopy, a solid roof to prevent the wind, but the orchid pots still receive enough sunlight. In addition, some vines on the truss also make the space greener. This is a favorite place of Humanities students, especially on hot afternoons. Here, you can both take shimmering photos as if you are lost in a miniature Da Lat, and can stop to relax after stressful study hours. Bao Tran (Faculty of Journalism and Communication) shared: “The first day I went to the school to visit, and then I saw the orchid garden, I was very surprised. I did not expect that there is such a “genuine” orchid garden on the university campus. I love this beautiful green environment. During my break, I often go out here with my friends or have a group meeting, and sometimes, we also take pictures.” The fake star flower garden is the inspiration for many beautiful photos of the students. Not only equipped with modern facilities of high quality, zone B also has green spaces with trees and natural miniatures. This place seems to be completely separate from the hot sun of Saigon weather. Trees are meticulously trimmed, neat but still ensure aesthetics. Stone chairs are arranged many for students to sit back and relax, immersing in the fresh nature around. On one side, there are beautiful shimmering classrooms, on the other hand, there are spaces covered with green trees that have made building B the dream study place of many students in the school.
