The Women’s Union of Phuoc Hung commune holds the grassroots grading meeting

On the morning of April 23, the Women’s Union of Phuoc Hung commune (Long Dien district) held the 5th Women’s Congress, term 2021-2026. This is the unit selected by the Women’s Union of Long Dien district to organize the grassroots congress.
Attending the meeting were Ms. Le Thi Kim Thu, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women’s Union; Mr. Vo Huu Hanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee of Long Dien; leaders of the district Women’s Union; Party Committee leaders, People’s Committee of Phuoc Hung commune and 100 official representatives representing more than 5,000 women officials and members in the commune.

Mr. Vo Huu Hanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Long Dien District Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Congress. In the 2016-2021 term, the Women’s Union of Phuoc Hung commune has supported women to start a business through models such as: “The group of women who save money”, the Women’s group to grow safe and clean vegetables “,” The group of women who make crabs. “,” Women’s garment processing women’s group “… The Association has coordinated and created conditions for 707 members to borrow more than 28 billion VND from the district Social Policy Bank for business development; mobilized 263 turns of women to contribute 179 million VND to help 147 women with difficulties with seedlings, money and labor; maintaining 87 groups of women saving money, with the amount of 395 million VND … In building a new countryside and a civilized city, the Commune Women’s Union has mobilized: 180 million VND to upgrade 3 roads; more than 42 million VND to install hundreds of led lights to light up streets in the residential area … In the 2021-2026 term, the Women’s Union of Phuoc Hung commune has identified 13 main targets and 3 key tasks, such as: Supporting women’s development and integration; Build strong associations; Women actively participate in building the Party and the State and mobilizing society for gender equality. The Congress elected the Executive Board term V consisting of 9 members. Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Tien continues to hold the title of Chairwoman of the Women’s Union of Phuoc Hung Commune term 2021-2026. The Congress also elected the Delegation to attend the Women’s Congress of Long Dien district, the term 2021-2026. According to Ms. Nguyen Thi My Le, Chairwoman of the Women’s Union of Long Dien district, on the basis of this congress, all levels of the Women’s Union in the district will draw experience to organize and complete the organization of the grassroots congress. In May 2021, progress to the 11th District Women’s Union Congress, term 2021-2026, scheduled to be held in August 2021.
