However, people who are accustomed to eating luxurious meals suddenly begin to seek to return to nature, return to their original heart, return to tradition, looking for the purest way of dining, a spiritual way of life. As a result, in the Banbian Mountain Scenic Area of Xiangshan Mountain, Ningbo, Zhejiang, a food feast returning to the mountains and forests “Mountain and Sea Wild Feast, Wild Luxury Night” is quietly kicking off, and I was fortunate to participate in this unique and innovative banquet. .
Taken in Ningbo, Zhejiang in April 2021. Friends who often read my articles must be familiar with Xiangshan, Zhejiang, so I won’t introduce them more. Before talking about today’s banquet, let me introduce the location of this banquet: Donghai Banbian Mountain Tourist Resort. The resort is located in Shipu Town, Xiangshan County. Because it is close to the East China Sea, surrounded by the sea on three sides and built on the mountain, it is named “East Sea Half Side Mountain”. The entire resort area covers an area of 8 square kilometers, with mountains, seas, forests, sandy beaches, islands and reefs, and small fishing villages. It is a tourist resort destination integrating various forms and is by far the largest in East China. An ecological comprehensive marine tourism project. The venue for today’s banquet was at the Huahai Sports Ground in Half Mountain Scenic Area. Rather than being a banquet, it is more accurately an experience of returning to nature. The activity of the day starts at 2 pm. The first thing that all guests attending the banquet have to do is to set up a camp. This is a very meaningful outdoor experience for people who live in the city all the year round. Everyone has set up the camp very carefully and hard. When sitting in the tent and lighting the fire, all the complicated life has been forgotten, and my heart is extremely calm and calm. Here, either chatting, or in a daze, or feeling the freedom in the mountains and forests, or helping to build an earthen kiln to make afternoon tea, wasting time extravagantly. However, everyone is willing and enjoys such waste. The good times always seem to go faster. The evening is approaching in a short while, the sky is slowly getting darker, and today’s highlight is about to be staged. Light the bonfire, wine and flowers are ready, waiting for everyone to sit down and taste the gourmet meal prepared by the five-star chef in the mountains. The banquet begins at 17:30 in the evening. This first dish is an appetizer consisting of smoked mackerel in apple wood, Liberian ham, aero-lemon cream and fried chives. This appetizer sounds like a lot of ingredients, but it is made into two short pieces of only 1 cm long. To say that the taste is quite good, the flavors of various ingredients blend together and complement each other, making the whole dish full and full. Paired with selected white wine is definitely a treat. This second course is soup. A wild vegetable soup cooked with Xiangshan local wild vegetables, fresh bamboo shoots, cordyceps flowers, and fish balls. The amount of soup in this bowl is also small, and it looks very ordinary, but its taste is refreshing and delicious, and it is a special occasion to taste this kind of soup in the mountains. The first course of the main course is pan-fried deep-sea prawns, paired with sweet and sour fermented rice, cuttlefish noodles, black truffle, coral flakes, etc. The ingredients of the whole dish are reasonably collocated, the plate is exquisite, and the taste is slightly heavier. It is a perfect match with the selected red wine. The first few dishes were done by the chef in the kitchen, and then served in the mountains and forests. Next, the main dish is grilled on the spot, and you can smell the scents floating in the distance while sitting at the table. This is the second main course, freshly grilled charcoal-fired Tomahawk steak, served with carrots, herb potatoes, pineapple, etc. I don’t need to say more about this smell, it makes people salivate looking at the pictures. The serving of Tomahawk Steak also pushed the entire banquet to a climax. Finally, this dessert is very creative, reflecting the chef’s skill and imagination. The starry sky, the sea of clouds at the base is made of marshmallows, and the middle planet is a chocolate ball. After lightly tapping, the ball is divided into two halves with a cherry inside. The idea of the whole dessert is really open, and I give the chef a thumbs up. The entire wild event lasted more than two hours. Everyone tasted food, tasted wine, talked about life, and talked about ideals. Here, they met good food, met good people and things, embraced nature together, and released the wild in their hearts. After dinner, the irori folk music reception opens. Everyone listened to music, tasted delicious whiskey, BBQ skewers, Wilderness Cinema, etc. Fireworks will be set off in the middle of the night. In short, this night is your wild. Seeing this, many friends have to ask how much it costs? Perhaps talking about money in this mood is a bit ruining the atmosphere, but I still want to tell you secretly: 2800 yuan per person. Some people may think it is expensive, but for those who pursue it, this is the lifestyle they want.
