Earlier, on the night of August 8, 236 citizens, including 120 women and 116 men, went on a flight from Taiwan to Da Nang International Airport. Immediately after completing the procedures at the airport, all these citizens were accepted by the Military Command of Quang Ngai province and sent directly to two isolated areas: the Training Center for training knowledge of National Defense and Security, under 887 Regiment and the Military Headquarters Camp of Quang Ngai City, at Truong Quang Trong Ward, Quang Ngai City.

By the afternoon of 10.5, the test results showed that 236/236 citizens were negative for the first time for SARS-CoV-2. Citizens will be kept on quarantine for a full 21 days and have at least 2 times tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 under the new regulation to be eligible to complete quarantine. Currently, the whole province is organizing isolating 417 people, isolated at home with 2,207 people. Of which, all 45 F1 cases related to Covid-19 cases inside and outside the province tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. The Health sector is coordinating with relevant agencies to urgently trace F1 and F2 subjects related to patients announced by the Ministry of Health. As of October 10, the province has vaccinated for 7,981 priority subjects, achieved nearly 93% of the target, ensuring vaccination safety.
