Seeing that domestic tourism is recovering day by day, tourists from all walks of life, rich, poor, single, parent-child, are starting to move around, among which poor travel enthusiasts are a large group. My understanding of “Qianyou”, the subtext behind it is “How to spend the least money and have better fun when traveling”. After all, it is poor travel and tourism. In the end, most people are still pursuing the characteristics and enjoyment of the journey. I think the most suitable gameplay in China for poor travel can be divided into two types-“route suitable for poor travel” and “destination suitable for poor travel”. Three recommended routes for the poor travel route are the “Sichuan-Tibet Line”, “Qinghai-Tibet Line” and “Silk Road” (domestic section). Some people will ask “Why are they all remote areas in the west?”. Because “Qingyou” pursues “the local consumption level should be low enough”, the scenery along the way should be “good enough and distinctive”, that’s why! Each of these three routes has a distance of more than 2,000 kilometers. It is ideal to play for two weeks to four weeks. Self-driving tours are the most cost-effective and the most feasible way. You can also travel by car along the way, which may save money but the most expensive In time, suitable for student parties and “single bastards”. Taking the three routes with my own car for an 8-10 day trip as an example, my measured tourism consumption expenditure is around 2500-3000 yuan, including gas. Then let’s talk about the “poor travel” destination recommendation. The choice is much larger than the route, and there are no shortage of first- and second-tier cities. For example, the international metropolis Beijing, a standard first-tier city, is actually a great destination for poor travel. Some people say, you are wrong, because all kinds of living expenses in Beijing are so expensive, how can it be a “poor travel” destination! You must not think that everything is expensive in a big city, because you are not living in Beijing, it is just a short-term stop for you to walk around, so you will not feel the expensiveness of various living expenses. I spent 3 days sightseeing in Beijing, staying in cheap hotels, eating street shops, going out to take the bus, and trying to see free attractions, all spending about 800 yuan (the round-trip transportation is not included). Some people may not believe that tickets to major attractions are not cheap, how can you spend so little money? Yes, the Forbidden City, Badaling, Prince Gong’s Mansion, these big attractions are indeed not cheap, we can not go! You can give priority to visiting the famous hutongs in Beijing to experience the culture of the city. The hutongs in Dongcheng District are the most concentrated, and there are no penny tickets for them, and they are completely free for tourists. The landmark attractions Bell and Drum Tower, Houhai, Jingshan, 798 Art District, Panjiayuan Antique Market, Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing Street, Qianmen Street Dashilan, these either don’t require tickets, or they only cost a few yuan, the key is that these places have Beijing-style culture Depth is the characteristic of Beijing tourism. If you apply for a transportation card for sightseeing in the suburbs of Beijing, it is actually very economical and affordable. After a day of playing, the transportation fee may not exceed 20 yuan. In addition, you can also go to Hangzhou Qiuyou, the famous West Lake, a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, free sightseeing, two or three days of poor travel itinerary, five or six hundred yuan is enough. Also, in Shangli, an ancient historical and cultural town in Sichuan, tourists are free to enter the ancient town. In fact, it only costs 1-2 yuan to visit the scenic spots in the ancient town. Is this standard low enough? You can also find cheap food and drink for tourism and leisure in the urban area of Chengdu—because delicious fly restaurants are everywhere in Chengdu’s streets and alleys. Those Internet travel and gourmet experts come to Chengdu. If they are paying for their own money, few will Going to a high-spending restaurant to eat is basically all rushing to the street side snack shop. A local special dinner can cost more than a dozen yuan. It is enough for a person to eat 300 yuan for three days. Especially around Jinli and Kuanzhai Alleys (these two places are also free attractions), the food stalls and small shops are more concentrated, which is suitable for poor travellers. In addition, the cost of transportation in Chengdu is also low. The city bus costs 1 yuan per person, and the starting price of taxis is only 8 yuan. The starting price of tricycles is even lower-5 yuan. In addition, there is the “mountain city, fog capital, and municipality directly under the central government” next to Sichuan-Chongqing can still travel poorly. Its key tourism features are “visiting ancient towns, enjoying night views, seeing beautiful women and eating hot pot”. These are the “Four Cheats” for poor travellers to travel to Chongqing. I spent three days in Chongqing in 2019. I was also a poor traveler, spending only 600 yuan. The free night view of Hongyadong is very beautiful. Anyone can visit the ancient town of Ciqikou for free. You can watch the beauties at Jiefangbei. The Yangtze River Cableway to see the spectacular Yangtze River only costs 20 yuan for a cable car ticket. If you don’t like the theme series of “mountain cities, ancient towns, and metropolises” and want to see the sea, then I recommend you to go to the “new first-tier city” Qingdao, Shandong, and walk along the southern coast of the city, the trestle bridge and the May Fourth The square, the Olympic Sailing Center, the Naval Museum, Badaguan, and Shilaoren Beach are all beautiful coastal landscapes. You can walk slowly and stroll around. Most of them don’t need tickets… The local accommodation cost in Qingdao is also very low. The characteristic German-style B&Bs and hotels in the urban area cost about 100 yuan per night. Do you think it’s worth it? Is the price low? Traveling to Qingdao poorly, I took three days as an example. At that time, all my expenses were only 400 yuan (I didn’t live in a German-style bed and breakfast, but I stayed in a small hotel that costs 70 yuan per night). Having said so many places in China suitable for poor travel, don’t know which one is your dish? Or if you don’t like these, you are welcome to share a few poor travel destinations or routes that are cheaper than my recommendation in the comment area below.
