Speaking of lakes in Hangzhou, the first thing we think of is the world-famous West Lake. “If you want to make the West Lake better than the West, light makeup and heavy makeup are always suitable!” The praise of the great writer Su Dongpo not only showed the charm of the West Lake to the fullest, but was also evaluated by later generations as a swan song to praise the beauty of the West Lake. The picturesque willows, the bridges are like smoke, the swans are seen in the sunshine, and the West Lake is so empty in the rain, it has naturally become Hangzhou’s “face value”. But today we are not talking about West Lake, but about another lake in Hangzhou. Although it is a completely artificial lake, it is also one of the most beautiful lakes in Hangzhou, and its capacity is equivalent to three thousand times that of West Lake. It is the Qiandao Lake known as the back garden of the Yangtze River Delta.
Qiandao Lake, also known as Xin’anjiang Reservoir, is an artificial lake formed after the dam closure. The lake area reaches 573 square kilometers and the reservoir capacity is 17.84 billion cubic meters, which is equivalent to the capacity of 3184 West Lakes. It is the largest artificial lake in my country. Qiandao Lake is one of the first national-level scenic spots in my country. It is a dazzling emerald on the golden tourist route of “Hangzhou DD Qiandao Lake DD Huangshan”, a famous mountain and water city. The clear water in the scenic area is peculiar, thousands of islands are beautiful, the natural scenery is exquisite, the ecological environment is excellent, and it has the reputation of “the middle reaches of the Qiandao clear water painting”. Its main characteristic landscape is the so-called Thousand Islands, Xiushui, and Golden Belt. Thousand Island Lake, the island is as its name, because there are more than a thousand islands of different shapes in the lake, so it gets its name. These islands have their own characteristics and are green and dripping, and they are hidden from the green mountains and clear waters. From a distance, if it were not for the area where the island and the lake are surrounded by a layer of golden soil (“golden belt”), it is really hard to tell. Where is the mountain, where is the water. The island has a quiet environment, excellent ecology and rich historical sites. There are “flower islands” with laurel fragrance and red plum clusters, “animal islands” filled with monkeys and poisonous snakes, as well as strange stone islands lined with strange rocks, and many It is the “historical island” left by the ruins and so on. Of course, the most worth seeing is Meifeng Island, a first-class scenic spot in Qiandao Lake, because it has the highest altitude and is the best place to ascend the scenic spot to view the lake. It can have a sweeping view of the beauty of Qiandao Lake. As for the water of Qiandao Lake, let alone how clear it is, although it is 100 meters deep, it has a visibility of up to 12 meters. Nearly 600 square kilometers of the open lake, the blue sky and white clouds, surrounding mountains, lush green forests and other scenery are all clearly reflected in the water. Boating on the lake can experience the artistic conception of “boat walking in the scene and people swimming in the painting”. People can’t help but think of a poem by Shen Yue in the Southern Dynasties praising his clear water: “Dong Che follows the clear and light, and there is no winter and spring in the bright mirror; Qianren writes the tree, and sees the scales in a hundred zhang.” Moreover, the water quality of Qiandao Lake is pure and sweet, reaching the national Class I water quality standard. According to China’s largest rivers and lakes, it not only benefits the thousands of households in Hangzhou, but also the Nongfu Spring, which we often drink, is water taken from the depths of Qiandao Lake. . He was praised as “the best beautiful water in the world” by Mu Qing, former president of Xinhua News Agency. However, behind the magnificent scenery of lakes and mountains, it is of course inseparable from the dedication and love of people. Looking at the vast expanse of blue waves in front of him, who would have thought that there are still two thousand-year-old cities hidden underneath, and a period of poignant homesickness. In 1959, in order to cooperate with China’s first five-year plan, China’s first self-designed and constructed large-scale water conservancy hydropower station was built at Tongguan Koukou of Xin’an River, and the reservoir formed by interception and impoundment will be built in Han and Tang Dynasties. The two thousand-year-old cities of “Lion City and He City” during the year, together with many surrounding towns and 10,000 acres of fertile land, were all submerged under Qiandao Lake. Nearly 300,000 people have left their hometowns and emigrated, showing that the lake’s beautiful waters are full of ancestors. We miss our hometown. For the beautiful lake in front of us, the people of Qiandao Lake today are doing all they can to care for them. They insist on closing mountains for reforestation, shutting down polluting companies, cleaning the lake regularly, etc. I believe it is also the care of the people of Qiandao Lake. Good for all the world!
