Saunders Arkitektur (Norway’s) Saunders Arkitektur’s XS Minihus is a modern ultra-small home based on the idea of tackling all of Bergen’s contemporary housing obsession with a cabin. The total area of the house is 24 square meters, the floor has a triangular shape that fits in a land area of 5 square meters. 
The interior of the house is designed to be compact to create a feeling of spaciousness in a small area. In particular, the design team uses folding beds so that when there is no need, the homeowner can pull up close to the wall; Other details such as bookshelves, kitchen utensils and wardrobes are similarly designed. 
The bathroom is “hidden” behind the bed, the reading corner is located above the locker, facing the roof and can be accessed by a folding ladder. The house has a rainwater storage system to use for the toilet, solar panels on the roof are the source of electricity. 
XS Minihus consists of 12 main parts, allowing users to transport to remote locations and then reassemble, which means it is also easy to disassemble to move to another location. Because the house structure rests on piles, so it can adapt to all kinds of rough terrain.
