In 2020, he rented out 6 sao of gardening from a landowner in Xuan Tho commune to grow immortal flowers for sale to flower shops and ornamental plants in Da Lat to make flower baskets to sell to tourists. Young man Vo Ngoc Minh Nhat, 22 years old, his son Vo Ngoc Dung, who had just graduated from an art school in Ho Chi Minh City once visited the garden with his father, was overwhelmed by the beauty of the immortal flower garden. Then he advised his father not to collect flowers anymore, but left the whole flower garden to welcome visitors. Immortality is a unique flower because when it is dead, each flower retains the same shape and color as when it first bloomed. In Dalat, immortal flowers have been planted for a long time, but the colors are quite monotonous, mainly yellow and orange. Meanwhile, the immortal flower garden of Mr. Vo Ngoc Dung’s family has a variety of colors such as white, yellow, orange, purple, red, pink … due to the variety imported from abroad. This flower has good resistance to pests and diseases, takes less care, the time from seeding to flowering is about 5 months and the tree will bloom continuously for about 2 years before having to replace another litter.

Mr. Vo Ngoc Dung said that in the past, the economic efficiency from growing immortal flowers was quite precarious because each kilogram of flowers sold only about 40,000 VND. One person can cut 5-6kg of cotton / day. While the average wage of labor is 200,000 VND / day / person, the flower selling fee is only enough to pay the labor cost. However, since moving to tourism, the economic efficiency is much higher. The tourist destination “Immortal Flower Forest” is completely free for visitors, families only sell soft drinks and coffee at the price of 20,000-40,000 VND / cup. “Normally we welcome about 50 guests, on holidays, the ceremony welcomes 200-300 guests. Income from selling water to visitors is much higher than from cutting cotton to sell by weight “, Mr. Vo Ngoc Dung affirmed. Highway 20 from the center of Da Lat city to Xuan Tho, Xuan Truong (Da Lat) communes has now become a tourist road with many famous “chek-in” and “Immortal Flower Forest” with the Rustic beauty but no less romantic is a special highlight that makes this road even more attractive to visitors from near and far.
