Center for Vietnamese Craft Village – a work designed by Architect Hoang Thuc Hao’s Architectural Office 1 + 1> 2 since 2018.

This is an architectural complex located in an area of ​​3,700 square meters, with one side facing Bat Trang village, the other facing the Bac Hung Hai canal. The project has an estimated total investment of 150 billion VND. Inspired by the image of “ceramic claws” rotating table blocks interfering with each other, shaping the work with multi-faceted surfaces, soft and free movement. In another corner, we see the image of the old pots of the Bat Trang people. “Rotating Pottery” preserves traditional values ​​and develops pottery in the new era, honoring the creativity and talent of artisans. With the function of museum and trade center displaying elite products, … includes 2 main blocks: 4-storey inner block: for commercial activities, homestay rooms of experts and artisans. The 4th floor is the quintessential culinary restaurant of the village. Next to it is the performance room of the ethnic arts. Outer museum block: – The first floor frees the maximum space, creates a Pottery Square, displays and introduces products, is a gathering place, connects visitors with Artisans. Open space suitable for large activities, traditional cultural festivals … Floor 2, 3, displaying art pottery throughout the process of forming Bat Trang Pottery Village up to now. With unique, delicate, colorful ancient enamel lines … to shape, sophisticated decoration details, natural, close … The 4th floor is an organic garden, a green “play” space.
