Russian artist Marina Bychkova was not interested in mass-produced dolls, so she created a unique doll collection for herself.
“Enchanted Dolls” is the name of a collection of dolls by Russian artist Marina Bychkova. She has hand-made dolls with distinct beauty. 
Marina Bychkova’s dolls are meticulously made from makeup, to elaborate costumes studded with expensive gems. 
These dolls exude a fragile and seductive beauty, different from the usual doll lines on the market. 
The idea of making her own dolls was cherished by Marina since she was just a 6-year-old girl: “As a child, I felt mass-produced dolls were trivial and boring.” 
It was not until the age of 24, after three years of hard work at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, that Marina Bychkova decided to choose dolls as her career. 
“Enchanted Doll” is a title based on a short story by writer Paul Gallico. 
The dolls are meticulously crafted using high-quality materials, such as porcelain, gold, silver, and even Swarovski crystals.
