The Minister of Information and Communications has issued Decision No. 769/QD-BTTTT to establish a National Center for Technology for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. This is a technology force operating 24/7 to serve the prevention and control of Covid-19.
Using Bluezone helps detect close contact with suspected infected people, contributing to the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic. The Center is headed by Mr. Do Cong Anh, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Informatization (Ministry of Information and Communications); leader of Information Technology Department (Ministry of Health) as Deputy Director; Mr. Tran Dac Phu, consultant of Vietnam Public Health Emergency Response Center is a member, in charge of professional advice. In addition, the Center has 6 other members from functional units of the Ministry of Information and Communications and information technology enterprises. In particular, the leader of Bkav Group is in charge of the overall design of shared platforms and databases… The Center has the task of acting as a focal point, coordinating with agencies, organizations and enterprises, participating in technical and technological support and cooperation to serve the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic; design, build, manage, operate, monitor, ensure safety and network security for technology platforms and systems for Covid-19 prevention and control. In particular, the Center will uniformly manage, centrally connect and distribute electronic health declaration data, domestic movement declaration data, people’s reflection data, quarantine point data and data on control of entry and exit of quarantine points between Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control technology systems… Step 1: Visit https://www.bluezone.gov.vn or download directly at App Store or CH Play. Step 2: Once downloaded, the application will ask for permission to use Bluetooth to record contact with other Bluezone installed users. If Bluetooth is not open, drag the status bar and turn on Bluetooth; or go to Settings, select Bluetooth and turn it on. Step 3: Once the installation is done, click Scan Around. If someone near you less than 2m has used Bluezone, the application will automatically identify these users and put them in the contact list.
