The vermicelli flower tree (also known as curtain flower tree or white flower) is located on Dinh Thon Street, My Dinh 1, Nam Tu Liem District, which is blooming with white flowers, surprising many people with its strange beauty. 
According to the elderly living in Dinh Thon village, the vermicelli flower tree was planted about 300 years ago. Around the tree base is protected by a fence, inside there is a shrine to the spirit of the old tree. 
Noodle plants usually flower around April – June, depending on the climate conditions where the flowering time may be earlier or later. The flower cluster at the end of the branch, carries many large white or milky white flowers, sometimes yellow-orange. 
The vermicelli tree is native to Japan, Australia, widely distributed in Asian countries such as China (there are many in Guangdong, Hainan, called Carpentry), Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Nepal. , The Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and a few in the South Pacific islands. 
Lured by the beauty of the vermicelli flowers, many people stopped to take pictures and enjoy. For unknown reasons, rice vermicelli trees are often planted near temples, pagodas and shrines. 
In the central provinces such as Quang Nam, Ninh Thuan, Thua Thien – Hue …, the vermicelli flower tree is very familiar to the people, but in Hanoi not many people know about this tree. 
The vermicelli flower cluster is located at the end of the branch, carries many large white or milky white flowers, sometimes yellow-orange, each flower carries from 13 to 18 stamens to tens of cm long, red or purple stamens. When the flowers bloom, the stamens flock in front of the petals to look like a spider, so Bun Tree has the English name Spider Tree (spider tree). 
In the condition of moist soil, thick soil layer, high fertility, flowers bloom when the plant is full of leaves, forming white patches on the green background of the canopy, which looks beautiful. In contrast, in the arid, nutrient-poor land, the vermicelli trees flower when the branches have almost removed their leaves, causing the whole tree to carry a white arch or a milky-white dome with a yellowish-orange mark. 
For a long time, in many places in southern China and Southeast Asia, people have chosen the vermicelli tree as the landscape tree. In many Asian countries, including Vietnam, trees are often grown in temples, pagodas … so it is also called Temple Plant.
