Weekend afternoon, the Landmark 81 area park is crowded with visitors to roam and enjoy the wind. This is a familiar dating place for many people in Ho Chi Minh City. There is a spacious space with stretching lawn, the background is the Landmark 81 tower, this place becomes a check-in place for many young people. Many families also bring their children here to fly kites. This park is a rare place in Saigon where you can run and relax in a large space. Ngoc Tan and a group of friends come to this park to practice skateboarding every weekend. He has only been studying this street sport for a few months. “This place has a lawn, river bank, open, wide, close to home, so I can comfortably skateboard without fear of traffic entanglement,” Tan shared. Many groups also organize outings and photo sessions in the park. Huy (7 years old) and his family brought the kite to the park to drop. The space is spacious and full of pedestrians, so Huy’s parents can let his children run and jump. Green space occupies the main area with lawns and garden systems. In addition to walking and sports, there is also a dining area. Many foreign girls bring carpets and food to sunbathe. Anh Tho (District 7) went to the amusement park with his family. In order for the children to have more activity, he brought a rope and instructed his children to play jumping rope. “The park is located next to the river, so it is very airy, there is enough space for children to play rope skipping and soccer. From here on, my family can visit the restaurants in the center for dinner,” said Tho to speak. The large lawn system in the center of the park is always the most crowded place.
