Toyota Crown Kluger 2021 has just been launched in China. This SUV model has many similarities with the Toyota Highlander 2021.
After being presented as a documentary in China, the Toyota Crown Kluger 2021 officially debuted at the 2021 Shanghai Motor Show. This model has many similarities with the Toyota Highlander 2021. 
Toyota Crown Kluger is equipped with 2.5L hybrid powertrain and E-Four all-wheel drive system. Other specific information has yet to be revealed, but Toyota said the model is built on the same TNGA-K platform as the Highlander in the US market and is comparable in size. 
Specifically, the Toyota Crown Kluger also has 3 rows of seats, length x width x height, respectively 5,015 x 1,930 x 1,750 mm, wheelbase 2,850 mm. Vehicles equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels as standard and optional 20-inch wheels. 
The Toyota Highlander 2021 was also launched in China at the same time as the Crown Kluger, using the same hybrid powertrain and the E-Four drive system. This engine has a capacity of 189 horsepower, significantly lower than the capacity of 240 horsepower on the Highlander for the US market. 
In terms of appearance, the Toyota Grown Kluger has a different car head than the Highlander. The headlights are the same, but the Highlander has a trapezoidal grille and a Toyota logo on the chrome bar near the top edge of the grille, while the Grown Kluger has a crown emblem, similar to Toyota’s full-size sedans. The wheels of these two models also have a different design. 
It is likely that the Toyota Crown Kluger and Highlander 2021 in China will be equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 package with radar-active cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic headlights, lane keeping assist. road and traffic sign recognition. 
Toyota says both the Crown Kluger and the 4th-generation Highlander will go on sale in China by mid-year. Selling price has not been announced by the company.
