In the afternoon of April 14, Vietnam recorded 16 new Covid-19 patients, raising the total number of new cases to 2,733.

The Ministry of Health said that 16 new cases are all cases of Covid-19 entry, isolated in Ba Ria – Vung Tau (5 cases), Ho Chi Minh City. HCMC (3 shifts), Hanoi (3 shifts), Da Nang (3 shifts) and Quang Nam (2 shifts). Specifically:

Patient 2718 is a male, 31 years old, with an address in Dong Anh district, Hanoi.

Patient 2719 is a female, 32 years old, located in Italy Yen district, Nam Dinh province.

Patient 2720 is a female, 29 years old, with an address in Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.

Patient 2721 is a female, 29 years old, with an address in Bang Bang town, Tay Ninh province.

Patient 2722 is a male, 39 years old, located in Italy Yen district, Nam Dinh province.

On April 12, 5 patients from Russia entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight VN5062 and were quarantined immediately after entering Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Long Dien District Medical Center, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province.

Patient 2723 is a male, 38 years old, who is an Indian national. On April 10, patients from India entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight EK392 and were quarantined immediately after entering Ho Chi Minh City. Hcm. The April 12 test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Patient 2724 is a female, 50 years old, with an address in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City. Hcm. On April 10, patients from the U.S. transiting Korea entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight OZ735 and were quarantined immediately after entering Ho Chi Minh City. Hcm. As a result of the April 12 test, the patient tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Patient 2725 is a male, 58 years old, a U.S. citizenship professional. On March 28, patients from the U.S. transiting Singapore entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight SQ178 and were quarantined immediately after entering Ho Chi Minh City. Hcm. As a result of the April 12 test, the patient tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

3 patients 2723-2725 are currently isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

Patient 2726 is a male, 32 years old, with an address in Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province.

Patient 2727 is a male, 38 years old, with an address in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.

Patient 2728 is a male, 23 years old, with an address in Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province.

On April 9, the three patients from Japan entered Noi Bai Airport on flight JL751 and were quarantined immediately after entering Hanoi. As a result of the April 13 test, the patients tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patients are isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases of Dong Anh Facility.

Patient 2729 is a male, 30 years old, a Vietnamese citizen, with an address in Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh province. On April 12, patients from Japan entered Da Nang Airport on flight VJ2519 and were quarantined immediately after entering Da Nang city. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.

Patient 2730 is a male, 25 years old, with an address in Hong Ngu city, Dong Thap province.

Patient 2731 is a male, 30 years old, with an address in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.

On April 5, 3 patients 2730-2731 from Japan entered Da Nang Airport on flight VN5319 and were quarantined immediately after entering Da Nang. Currently, the patients are isolated and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.

Patient 2732 is a female, 25 years old, with an address in Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province.

Patient 2733 is a female, 24 years old, with an address in Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province.

On April 11, 2 patients 2732-2733 from Japan entered Da Nang Airport on flight VN5313 and were quarantined immediately after entering Da Nang city. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Quang Nam Central General Hospital.

Thus, by the afternoon of April 14, Vietnam recorded a total of 2,733 cases of Covid-19, including 1,570 domestic infections. From January 27 to now, 13 provinces and cities have recorded 910 cases.

In the past 27 days, Vietnam has not recorded new cases in the community.

Localities are still isolated, monitoring the health of nearly 39,000 people, including 517 in isolation at the hospital, isolating nearly 23,000 people, isolating at home more than 15,000 people.

Treatment facilities have cured 2,445 cases of Covid-19, the death toll is still 35.
