Hue Nghiem Pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City attracts visitors not only because of its beautiful architecture but also because of its large, airy campus, many green trees.
Located at 299B Luong Dinh Cua Street (Binh Khanh Ward, District 2 (old), Ho Chi Minh City), Hue Nghiem Pagoda is also known as Hue Nghiem 2 pagoda to distinguish it from Hue family. In the front yard of the pagoda, there is a statue of Bodhisattva Quan The Am, 12 m high (8m high, 4m high), made of monolithic marble, weighing 60 tons, donated by the Venerable Master Kim Son Thich Tinh Tu pagoda. 2003. The arrangement, harmonious combination between green patches, lotus pots, flower pots, stone steles, Buddha statues … creates a feeling of tranquility, peace and comfort for anyone who comes here. The temple grounds have many large-sized stone steles, engraved with the Buddha’s teachings. Spacious space with many green patches, flower gardens, small landscape with elegant beauty. In each courtyard, garden corner, lotus pond … all are given the names of each Bodhisattva by the Venerable Abbot, the Holy Sangha has titles in the Dharma States. Every month, there are two Sundays for Buddhists Dharma Hoa specialized in meditation. In addition, when visiting, the pagoda ceremony, visitors can also admire a new architectural beauty, which is the combination of architecture of Vietnamese pagodas and modern, sophisticatedly renovated Japanese temples. The main hall adorns the Buddhas: Buddha Bhikkhu Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, Bodhisattva Dai The Chi, Bodhisattva Van Thu, Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, Bodhisattva Maitreya. Hue Nghiem Pagoda is a combination of Vietnamese and Japanese architecture. The current abbot of Hue Nghiem Pagoda is Venerable Thich Le Trang. Before the translation of Covid-19 was not available, the pagoda regularly welcomed many domestic and foreign delegations to worship.
