Zhangjiajie was originally a “thousand-year forbidden land”? There are two mysterious forbidden places that no one has set foot in so far!
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, as a world geological park and a 5A-level scenic spot, enjoys a grand reputation at home and abroad, and countless tourists come to Zhangjiajie every year. We all know that Zhangjiajie has “three thousand strange peaks and eight hundred beautiful waters”, but did you know? It turns out that Zhangjiajie is a “thousand-year forbidden place”!
There are two mysterious forbidden places in Zhangjiajie, and no one has dared to set foot in them so far. The first is Heizongnao in Huangshizhai, and the second is Shentang Bay in Tianzi Mountain. Local old people often say: “Ning to go to the ghost gate, don’t go to Shentang Bay.” Shentang Bay is the most terrifying.
Shentang Bay is surrounded by cliffs, and only one side has a gap in the mountain.Visitors can only go to the top of Shentang Bay and look down through the gap, butwhatI can’t see it either, because the surrounding area is misty and windy. According to local people, there are huge pythons and monsters under Shentang Bay, and sometimes you can hear the sound of golden drums humming and people shouting and horses that can only appear in ancient battlefields.
According to legend, in the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty, the world was in turmoil, and the people didn’t have a living. Here Xiang Dakun rises up, leading the people to revolt. Zhu Yuanzhang sent people to suppress it. After the defeat, Xiang Dakun refused to surrender, and retreated to the cliff of Shentang Bay with the remnants and jumped off the cliff. The mysterious sound of Shentang Bay is said to be the voice of Xiang Dakun’s ghost after death, summoning Yin soldiers to practice.
On the other hand, Heizongnao is a virgin forest. There is a large area of blackness in it. No one has set foot in it since ancient times. According to legend, there are all kinds of strange plants and beasts in it. It is very dangerous and no one dares to explore it.
Of course, in addition to these two places to avoid in Zhangjiajie, there are many scenic spots to visit, especially the “Avatar” scenic spot in front of the floating mountain in “Avatar”. This scenic spot also has a story. It is rumored that during the Huangchao chaos, the Tujia ancestors came here to open up wasteland for refuge. After more than a thousand years, they still retain the most primitive Tujia people’s customs. Here, visitors can feel the mysterious charm of the millennium old village, and of course the scenery is also very stunning.
The terraced fields here are a must-see. They are called “the never-ending mirage of Zhangjiajie” and “the last home in the sky”. The former prime minister said with emotion that “Zhangjiajie has gods on top.” The terraces are built on the cliffs, and there is a blessing of indifferent stability among the dangers. It is surrounded by clouds and mists all day long, surrounded by thousands of peaks, and it is so beautiful. Come here while admiring the fairyland, experiencing the customs of the Tujia people, and tasting the traditional cuisine of the Tujia people, it is a fairy-like enjoyment! This place is officially opened during the May Day holiday, and it is estimated that it will become an online celebrity check-in place again!
