Recently, the Harbin Municipal Market Supervision Administration has organized special inspections of food safety around campuses in conjunction with the start of the spring school, focusing on the performance of the main responsibilities of food operators and supervision of the jurisdiction. During this special inspection, 1,636 food operators were inspected and 8 cases were ordered to rectify.
The special inspection focuses on shopping malls, warehouses, convenience stores, etc. within 200 meters of the campus of primary and secondary schools, and focuses on hot-selling convenience foods, refrigerated and frozen foods, and seasoned noodles. In order to ensure the implementation of special inspections, the Harbin Municipal Market Supervision Bureau conducted supervision and inspections in 9 districts and 9 counties (cities). A total of 56 food operators around 33 school campuses were randomly inspected, 56 volumes of supervision files were randomly checked, and supervision of jurisdictions was checked. Whether the unit has established 100% supervision files, whether it conducts risk level assessment of operators and conducts full-coverage supervision and inspection work.
Up to now, the city has dispatched 1,915 law enforcement personnel, inspected 1,636 food operators, and ordered 8 rectifications. Judging from the inspection results, the district and county (city) bureaus have attached great importance to food safety work around campuses, daily supervision is relatively in place, supervision files are complete and standardized, and no serious illegal acts such as the sale of expired food and Sanwu food have been found. However, there are still some shortcomings in the supervision work. The common problems are that the food business operators are not strong in legal awareness, the main responsibility is not in place, the certificate and ticket are incomplete, and the purchase inspection system is not in place. The Municipal Bureau has established a problem ledger for the problems discovered, implemented list management, followed up and supervised the rectification, and cancelled the numbers one by one.
