16 cases of COVID-19 are recorded in 5 localities including Ba Ria- Vung Tau; Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and Quang Nam.

The Ministry of Health’s April 14 afternoon newsletter said: As of 18:00 on April 14, Viet Nam had a total of 2,733 cases of COVID-19, of which 1,570 were caused by domestic infections; in particular, the number of new cases from January 27 to now is 910.

16 new cases (BN2717-2733) were isolated immediately after entry in Ba Ria – Vung Tau (5), Ho Chi Minh City (3), Hanoi (3), Da Nang (3) and Quang Nam (2). Specifically:

– CASE 2718 (BN2718) recorded in Ba Ria – Vung Tau: Male patient, 31 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with address in Dong Anh district, Hanoi city.

– CASE 2719 (BN2719) recorded in Ba Ria – Vung Tau: Female patient, 32 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with address in Italy Yen district, Nam Dinh province.

– CASE 2720 (BN2720) recorded in Ba Ria – Vung Tau: Female patient, 29 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with address in Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.

– CASE 2721 (BN2721) recorded in Ba Ria – Vung Tau: Female patient, 29 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with an address in Bang Bang town, Tay Ninh province.

– CASE 2722 (BN2722) recorded in Ba Ria – Vung Tau: Male patient, 39 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with address in Italy Yen district, Nam Dinh province.

On April 12, 2021, BN2718-2722 from Russia entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight VN5062 and was quarantined immediately after entering Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

Test results on April 13, 2021, patients positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Long Dien District Medical Center, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province.

– CASE 2723 (BN2723) recorded in Ho Chi Minh: Male patient, 38 years old, is a specialist, Indian nationality.

On April 10, 2021, a patient from India entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight EK392 and was quarantined immediately after entering Ho Chi Minh City.

Test results on April 12, 2021 positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

– CASE 2724 (BN2724) recorded in Ho Chi Minh: Female patient, 50 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with address in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City.

On April 10, 2021, patients from the U.S. transiting Korea entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight OZ735 and were quarantined immediately after entering Ho Chi Minh City.

Test results on April 12, 2021, tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

– CASE 2725 (BN2725) recorded in Ho Chi Minh City: Male patient, 58 years old, is a specialist, U.S. nationality.

On March 28, 2021, patients from the U.S. transiting Singapore entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight SQ178 and were quarantined immediately after entry in Ho Chi Minh City.

Test results on April 12, 2021, tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

– CASE 2726 (BN2726) recorded in Hanoi: Male patient, 32 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with address in Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province.

– CASE 2727 (BN2727) recorded in Hanoi: Male patient, 38 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with address in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.

– CASE 2728 (BN2728) recorded in Hanoi: Male patient, 23 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen with address in Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province.

On April 9, 2021, BN2726-2728 from Japan entered Noi Bai Airport on flight JL751 and was quarantined immediately after entry in Hanoi.

Test results on April 13, 2021, patients positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patients are isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases of Dong Anh Facility.

– CASE 2729 (BN2729) recorded in Da Nang: Male patient, 30 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen, with address in Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh province.

On April 12, 2021, a patient from Japan entered Da Nang Airport on flight VJ2519 and was quarantined immediately after entering Da Nang city.

Test results on April 13, 2021, tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.

– CASE 2730 (BN2730) recorded in Da Nang: Male patient, 25 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen, with address in Hong Ngu city, Dong Thap province.

– CASE 2731 (BN2731) recorded in Da Nang: Male patient, 30 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen, with address in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.

On April 5, 2021, BN2730-2731 from Japan entered Da Nang Airport on flight VN5319 and was quarantined immediately after entering the city.Da Nang.

Test results on April 13, 2021, patients positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patients are isolated and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.

– CASE 2732 (BN2732) recorded in Quang Nam: Female patient, 25 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen, with address in Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province.

– CASE 2733 (BN2733) recorded in Quang Nam: Female patient, 24 years old, is a Vietnamese citizen, with address in Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province.

On April 11, 2021, BN2732-2733 from Japan entered Da Nang Airport on flight VN5313 and was quarantined immediately after entering Da Nang city.

Test results on April 14, 2021, patients positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Quang Nam Central General Hospital.

Total number of close contact and entry from epidemic areas under health monitoring (quarantine): 36,234, of which isolation is concentrated in hospitals: 517; isolation at other facilities: 22,945; home isolation, accommodation: 15,281.

According to the report of the Medical Examination and Treatment Administration (Ministry of Health), the total number of patients curing the disease in our country to date is 2,445 / 2,733 cases.

Among COVID-19 patients being treated in health facilities across the country, 52 have been negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus 1-3 times including: 16 first-time negative cases; the second negative number of cases was 18; the third negative number of cases was 18.
