Prince Le Cong Phuoc (1895-1950), was born in the village of Article Hoa, Chau Thanh district, My Tho province (now in Ward 3, My Tho City, Tien Giang). He was the son of Governor Le Cong Sung, a wealthy man in My Tho province. He is also famous for being a liberal, so he is also known as Bach Cong Tu.

This was a large-scale Cai Luong singing troupe in the mainland of Nam Ky province at that time with the participation of many famous double diggers such as: Phung Ha, Ba Van, Nam Phia, Tam Du, Nam Thien, Ba Thau, Ba. Dong, Nine Mom, Five Masterpieces, Two Su, Two Women, Tu Be, Tu Hélènne … In which, the famous actress Phung Ha is the wife of the peacock.

By 1930, due to the impact of the economic crisis, many burdens were forced to disband, including the Huynh Ky singing troupe. In 1935, he re-established the singing troupe but failed to resonate. At the end of May 1950, he died and was buried in Thanh Khiet hamlet, An Thanh Thuy commune, Cho Gao district, Tien Giang province. Bach Cong Tu House was built by Le Cong Phuoc in the period 1925-1926 in the form of a villa with European Roman architecture – a typical artistic work of rich families in the early twentieth century. .

The outer surface of the wall is covered with lime-coated cement. The roof of the house is covered with fish-scale tiles, consisting of 8 roofs. On the roof, decorated with a tupa shape and 8 roof banks are attached with cement pigeons. The roof support is a recessed concrete column system.
