On the first day of arriving in the US, Khanh Van wore a dress with the image of the American and Vietnamese flags to show the spirit of friendship between the two countries, receiving many compliments from fans.
After a 26-hour flight, Khanh Van officially arrived in Houston, Texas to attend the Miss Universe 2020 contest. She was welcomed at the airport by Vietnamese expatriates present in the US. 
By chance on the flight to the US to compete, Khanh Van flew on the same flight with Miss Universe Japan Aisha Harumi. 
The two beauties quickly became close and promised to have a beautiful friendship during the course of participating in the Miss Universe 2020 contest in the US. 
After arriving in Houston, Texas, Khanh Van changed her outfit. 
She wore an elegant and graceful white dress, showing off her sexy bare shoulders. 
The highlight on this seemingly simple design is the Vietnamese and American flag motifs printed right on the chest. 
With this design, Khanh Van wants to show the Vietnam-US friendship as a greeting that she wants to send to international friends as soon as she arrives in the country of flags.
