Khanh Van with the design Coc Em Khanh Van introduces the national costume that she will bring to the war at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant, which will take place next month in the US. She said: “Coc Em compared to the drawing is 90% similar. During the implementation, the crew agreed to only change a few details to help me wear the model behind more easily. In particular, many netizens, when only able to see the design through the images, left many comments. In which, there is an opinion that “looking at Khanh Van wearing a costume, it feels quite heavy and cumbersome. Looking at a distance, Khanh Van looks like a god in a historical film”. 
Shape of Coc Em Coc Em is the winner of Miss Universe Vietnam ‘National costume design competition’, conceptualized by designer Khoa Lo and implemented with Tin Thai. The costume includes stylized ao dai, with a silk-fiber cocoon model, applying manual knitting techniques in combination with foreign macrame. With the meaning of honoring the profession of growing mulberry, raising silkworms, inside the cocoon, describing the craft of weaving silk through the reel and reel. The main white tone on Ao Dai helps Khanh Van express the grace and elegance of traditional women. Khanh Van performed national costumes
