Miss Khanh Van entered the 5th day of the Miss Universe contest with a training schedule, participating in a charity program.
On May 10 (US time), Khanh Van and 73 Miss Universe contestants practiced for the semi-final night. The representative of Vietnam continues to demonstrate a clear image strategy with an outfit inspired by the colors of street art, the brilliant night lights of Saigon. The matchy matchy outfit combines a deep slit short shirt with long-legged pants, emphasizing seductive curves. 
After 3 hours of training, Khanh Van changed into jeans and a T-shirt to participate in a charity program with Smile Train – a charity organization specializing in helping children with cleft lip and cleft palate. The 26-year-old girl still keeps her spirit full of energy despite the busy schedule. 
Before that, Khanh Van appeared with a short blue off-the-shoulder dress. With a height of 1.76 m, the Vietnamese representative belongs to the group of Asian contestants with the most standard appearance. According to Missosology, Miss Universe has gone to the 5th day. Photography, video recording, catwalk, training… activities have all been completed. On May 13, candidates will enter a closed interview round. 
Khanh Van changes her hairstyle, from straightening to curling to create variety. She does her own makeup in a style that emphasizes her eyes. According to the share, Khanh Van had a few months of makeup lessons before leaving for the US. 
The representative of Vietnam poses with Asian beauties. This year, Khanh Van was placed in the same room as the Malaysian contestant. The two, along with Miss England, are a group of friends who always appear together and record happy videos on social networks from day one. Khanh Van also gave the contestants pajamas worth 120,000 VND. 
Carrying 15 suitcases with nearly 200 costumes and accessories, Khanh Van was considered “outstanding”. Talking to Zing about this idea, Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang – National Director of Miss Universe in Vietnam – said: “Fashion and communication is a very important part, showing the seriousness of the contest. Among many beautiful girls, a way to make Van stand out is necessary. Moreover, each of Van’s costumes has its own story and meaning, in order to promote many aspects of Vietnam to the world.” . 
According to Mr. Bao Hoang, fashion is not all that Khanh Van brings to Miss Universe. He shared: “Khanh Van made an impression about the dress at the first step, but in the following days, I believe that the story about the project, activities and way of performance of Van will help her further affirm her value and self-image”.
