Miss Khanh Van first wore ao dai to dinner after many days of participating in activities at the Miss Universe contest.
During the dinner on May 12, Khanh Van first appeared with a long dress. The highlight on the outfit with bold communication imprints is a necklace and accessories in the shape of a lotus flower, making Khanh Van’s overall look more luxurious. Representatives of China and Australia shared photos taken with Vietnamese contestants. 
In the 3rd practice session for the semi-finals, Khanh Van promoted a strong and personal rock style. She wore a biker jacket with matching leather pants of the same color. After that, the beauty had a meeting and took pictures with Olivia Quido – the sponsor’s representative. 
Khanh Van’s photos are constantly updated. In just a few days, the number of followers on Instagram of the Vietnamese representative increased by more than 10,000 people. This shows that the 26-year-old beauty is being interested by international fans. In the field videos, Khanh Van is called by fans by name, instead of just “Miss Vietnam”. 
After working with Smile Train charity, Miss Khanh Van spread the message about the lives of children with cleft lip and cleft palate. She said: “Every 3 minutes, a child is born with intelligence. But children face many difficulties when eating, breathing, hearing and speaking.” Therefore, Khanh Van believes that children need to be skillfully and comprehensively taken care of every step of the way. 
Before that, Khanh Van was noble in a black rose patterned dress for a party outside the hotel. After 6 days of activities, 74 girls were divided into 4 groups and went to many different restaurants. Despite working hard and moving all day long, they were eager to go out and explore the city of Holywood. 
According to Missosology, there will be 8 female judges on the hot seat this year. In addition to two former Miss Brook Lee (Miss Universe 1997) and Zuleyka Rivera (Miss Universe 2006), the jury members will also include Arden Cho – Korean-American singer and actress. 
Ms. Paula Shugart – President of Miss Universe – said about the criteria for selecting the winner: “It must be the girl with the best performance, the most expensive dresses will have no meaning if they do not bring a message.
