Thanks to its airy design, the 3-storey house in Ho Chi Minh City was published by Archdaily Architecture Magazine as a typical design of modern house design.
Located on a 5x20m plot of land in a new urban area in Binh Tan district (HCMC), Connect House is the home of a young family of 3. When designing the house, the architect wanted to create a space that helps the people living in it feel comfortable and easily interact with each other. Therefore, the house minimizes the construction of walls. Instead of a system of glass walls, curtains… so that from the space of interference, the wife or husband can easily see what the other half and their children are doing. The skylight with green trees connects people with nature. The house consists of 3 bedrooms, all bedrooms have two windows, placed on opposite sides of the wall for easy air circulation. The ground floor is the space to arrange the common living areas, including the garage, children’s play area, kitchen combined with dining room. Stairs are also a space to help people feel relaxed like walking. Working corner overlooking the green space. The second floor is a children’s bedroom and a guest bedroom. Like many other tube houses, the 3rd floor of Connect House is used to arrange a laundry area, a small relaxation room and a terrace.
