On the eve of the 69th Miss Universe semi-final, Miss Khanh Van sent the audience a new set of photos in evening gowns, revealing the preparation for the upcoming important competitions.
In the past few days, Miss Khanh Van has continuously impressed the fans thanks to her stylish, flexible, and skillful fashion that integrates meaningful messages about the country and the nation.
On the eve of the Semi-finals, Khanh Van revealed a set of photos in evening gowns, which she took before going to the US. Each costume has a meaning, promoting the beauty of Vietnamese culture and people. 
The first prom set is by designer Vo Thanh Can, inspired by rice fields – an image familiar to generations of Vietnamese people. The designer cleverly attaches motifs to simulate the shape of a rice plant, embracing the body curve. 
The design uses a hip cutout, showing off Miss Khanh Van’s long legs. Next is a trio of evening gowns from Fashion House 9192. 
The first design has a striking green color, form cup shape showing off her bare shoulders. The costume is inspired by the sedge field in Vinh Long. In the harvest season (around April of the lunar calendar), farmers will dry the sedge, use it to make mats and export handicrafts. 
Coincidentally, the time of Miss Universe’s activities also falls on the fourth lunar month. This continues to be an evening set to help Miss Khanh Van show off her long slender legs. 
The 2nd design of the House of Fashion 9192 is a purple V-neck stone dress, hugging the body, incorporating a fringed stone pattern covering the bottom of the skirt. 
With this design, Miss Khanh Van takes full advantage of the 3rd round advantage, creating charm for every step. 
Design No. 3 of Fashion House 9192 uses black tones, creating a solemn, aristocratic, and a bit mysterious look for Khanh Van. Classic design, with long sleeves and high neckline but cut at the hem of the skirt, bringing the spirit of interference between classic and modern. 
Black is a color rarely used for evening dresses at competitions, but it will be an interesting highlight for Khanh Van if she wears this design for important activities or competitions at Miss Universe. After side activities such as trying on the opening costume, filming a video, taking a promotional photo… Khanh Van and the contestants entered the practice phase to prepare for important competition nights: National Costume (7 a.m. May 14, Vietnam time), Semi-finals (6 a.m. May 15, Vietnam time), Final (7 a.m. May 17, Vietnam time).
