In the difficult context of the tourism industry, the British Royal Family also had to find new ways to attract tourists for the post-Covid-19 era. Previously, Royal destinations accounted for 12.5% of the UK’s tourism industry.
The Queen of England has just announced that this summer, the Royal will open to the public an area of about 15.7 hectares (39 acres).
Restrictions made the Buckingham Palace open for the second year in a row impossible to organize. Visitors will be allowed to visit on their own basis, from July 9 to September 19, 2021. The tour will pass through a number of gardens, which have long been an exclusion zone, reserved only for music parties and events.

In the spring, flowers bloom brilliantly in the gardens, like the yellow of primrose, color red camellia, white magnolia flower … A 19th-century lake is also a popular tourist destination, connecting to Serpentine Lake in nearby Hyde Park. Visitors can go to immense green lawns, overlooking the lake gardens and wild flower meadows. These lawns allow for picnics and gatherings; However alcoholic beverages, ball games and barbecue are prohibited.

The tours are open during May and June, and visitors are allowed to visit State Rooms, visiting some of the treasures in the Royal Collection.
