Although it is only an old and degraded apartment, Ms. Dieu Linh (Hanoi) has painstakingly designed and renovated it in Japanese style, giving her family an ideal living space.
In Hanoi today, there are many old dormitories, with an age of up to decades.
The apartments here all have the same characteristics as old design, unreasonable use, lack of light… 5 years ago, Dieu Linh and her husband were lucky to buy an apartment at a cheap price. The first day I went to see the house, as soon as I walked in, I decided to buy it right away. Because this place is close to the office where she works, it has a cool space, different from the collective apartments she has come to see. 
Linh broke through the rooms, made large glass doors, and tiled Japanese-style wooden floors. The place to read books, drink tea is quite chill. At this time, in her mind, the renovation and redesign of the corners of the apartment appeared in her mind. At the time of home repair, Linh stayed at home while repairing the house while taking care of her children. Because she studied design, she had to directly design and supervise to feel secure. When she received the house, she smashed all the inner walls, changed the function of the room, broke the tiger’s cage, changed the bedroom into a large light-filled kitchen. 
The old bedroom was converted into a sunlit kitchen. As a result, she has three rooms flooded with light. In which, a room overlooking the garden of the neighbor on the first floor has a tigon set that touches the green eye. Two rooms with a view to the back yard of the office are quite quiet, with a row of fragrant jade orchids. She confided, the more she lived, the more she loved this house. Right in the middle of the noisy street, but entering the house is like a different world, quiet and relaxed. 
The terrace overlooking the balcony is planted with trees and flowers. Currently, despite many regrets, she has sold that apartment and moved to a luxury apartment complex on the outskirts of the city. Sharing about the reason for deciding to leave her favorite place, she said: “My first son has grown up, he needs a bigger space to develop physically and learn. Therefore, I bought an apartment in a new urban area, which has a large campus, landscape, swimming pool and many facilities… The old apartment has been broken up but is always a good memory for me and my family.”

For Linh, home is not only a place to return to, but also a peaceful space for family members. 
The apartment is full of memories. 
Although she has moved, Linh still gives the apartment a lot of nostalgia.
