Vinamit Chairman Nguyen Lam Vien received an American patent with the technology of freeze-drying sugarcane juice, keeping the taste fresh and pure. Mr. Vien’s unique idea comes from his father’s love for his son’s desire to drink a right glass of sugarcane juice in America.

For the next several months, Sophie kept sending documents about new American beverage trends – fresh, full-bodied juices, prebiotics, minerals, vitamins, probiotics and keeping the same color and odor, taste. From the suggestion of his son and his love for his child, Mr. Vien embarked on researching technology to freeze drying sugarcane juice. The new path is quite arduous, especially when he is a pioneer. He has to solve the double problem with many requirements, from visual form, color and taste, to invisible elements such as bacteria, microorganisms … which can only be seen in the laboratory. At that time, every day he had to talk to many groups, from biology, biomedical, nutritional experts to equipment specialists, technology, laboratory and experiment experts… In mid-2018, Mr. Vien and his associates successfully created powdered sugar cane juice, coffee powder, vegetable powder … with sublimation drying technology created by Vinamit equipment. Mr. Vien immediately applied to the US and Vietnam for patents for equipment – technology and “enclosure” for 500 products of fruits, vegetables, fruits … created from this technology platform. In addition to having to prove that at the time of filing Vinamit is the only entity that owns the technology, Mr. Vien also has to point out a series of novelty of the product, which is to keep the natural taste, fresh with vitamin content. , minerals and beneficial bacteria that give life to the gut. The pure freshly pressed sugar cane juice will be put into the freeze dryer by Vinamit and turned into a powder, keeping its color and taste intact. After more than 3 years of waiting, with the technology of converting from liquid to powder but still original and simple, Mr. Nguyen Lam Vien was granted a US patent (No. US 10,676,797 B1, issued on June 9. / 2020).
