The artist’s garden has a variety of flowers. Hong Dao’s mother is the one who cares for the garden when she is busy. She grows Vietnamese vegetables and irrigates flowers such as chrysanthemums, tea, and lanterns in both the back and front yard. 
Hong Dao is supported mainly by her mother in taking care of her garden. The area behind the house is spacious, in addition to growing flowers, she spends a space as a swimming pool. “I build a swimming pool for a few months in the summer but also rarely use it. Currently, every 4am, there is a flock of wild ducks flying home every morning,” Hong Dao shared.

The female artist is enjoying a peaceful and happy life. Besides, she said that she also received a lot of help from friends around. “The youngest brother, the children and grandchildren here are very good. I will help you whatever I need. Because I am alone, my arms and legs are weak, so I need one to make them rush. Many of the kids who came to work then invited me to eat again. I think if I become an artist to serve the audience, I have that fortune, “Hong Dao said.
