The highlight in the house is the transition of space to help homeowners have a better experience.

Located in a quiet residential area in Thu Dau Mot (Binh Duong), DD House is the home of a family of 3 generations. The house needs to be ventilated to make the most of the surrounding air. A narrow corridor from the outside leads to the interior of the house, opening up a continuous space along the horizontal and vertical axes, surrounded by separate bedrooms. To take advantage of the natural conditions, the sequence of spaces from the living room to the dining room and the kitchen is connected to the small alternating garden as a ventilation corridor that provides fresh air and sunlight for the entire house. home. This is an essential element in the context of cities in humid tropical climates. The central space becomes a dynamic area containing various activities of family members. The dining and entertainment room is fully functional for working and playing while enjoying the green courtyard. The dining table is designed straight to increase the interaction between the common space and the nearby indoor garden. The design focuses on the “Journey into space” experience. Therefore, the distance between the bedrooms is widened for homeowners to explore on foot. Along the stairways and corridors, different senses of architecture and light are opened up. Through this project, the architect wants to express new ideas about the harmony between spatial structure and local context.
