Nghe An’s director of Public Security is the deputy secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee

Major General Vo Trong Hai was transferred to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee after less than a year as the director of the Police Department of Nghe An province.
On the afternoon of April 16, the Central Organizing Committee announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on cadres work in Ha Tinh.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided to transfer Mr. Tran Tien Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee to stop joining the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and to resign from the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the term of 2020- 2025 to accept work at the Central Inspection Committee.

The Secretariat also decided to transfer and appoint Major General Vo Trong Hai, Director of Nghe An Provincial Public Security, to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the term 2020-2025.

Major General Vo Trong Hai (53 years old, from Duc Hoa commune, Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh). Before becoming Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, he used to hold the position of Head of Border Fort at Cau Treo International Border Gate.

After that, he was appointed as Deputy Commander of the Ha Tinh Border Guard and then Commander of the Ha Tinh Border Guard with many achievements on drug prevention in the provincial border area.

In early August 2018, the Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee appointed Mr. Hai to hold the position of Head of Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. In early March 2019, he was appointed to the position of Police Director of Ha Tinh province.

In June 2020, Mr. Hai was appointed as the director of the police station of Nghe An province. By September 2020, Colonel Vo Trong Hai was decided by the President to be promoted to Major General.
