Cases of BN12151-BN12171 were recorded in Bac Giang province in the isolation and blockade areas, related to workers working in industrial zones. The test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Cases from BN12172 to BN12231 recorded in HCMC: 51 cases are F1 cases, four are related to the Renaissance mission group, five are under epidemiological investigation. The test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2. To move towards herd immunity by the end of 2021, localities across the country are promoting vaccination against COVID-19. On June 17, an additional 200,263 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 vaccine, so the whole country had 1,991,059 doses of COVID-19 vaccine injected, of which 89,833 people received two full shots. According to data from the Ministry of Health, Thai Binh province has not recorded any new cases for 14 days. A total of 25 provinces (Yen Bai, Quang Ngai, Dong Nai, Quang Ninh, Quang Nam, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Nam Dinh, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Hung) Yen, Hai Phong, Tay Ninh, Gia Lai, Bac Lieu, Dien Bien, Dak Lak, Dong Thap, Tra Vinh, Da Nang, Thai Binh) have not recorded new cases for 14 days. The 4th outbreak is having unpredictable developments and spreading rapidly in Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Tinh, Bac Giang, Tien Giang, Nghe An and Binh Duong.
