Ms. Vo Thi Nga (from Quy Chau district, Nghe An) is currently the owner of a shop selling motorcycle parts and a shop selling handbags in Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City. Six years ago, after building a house in Go Vap district, she used the 40-square-meter terrace for gardening.
“Growing trees on the terrace is not simple, requires the grower to have patience and hard work. Fortunately, I am a farmer’s son. Since the age of 10, I have been gardening and farming, so I know quite a lot. knowledge of cultivation”, Ms. Nga shared. 
When starting to plant trees on the terrace, Ms. Nga had to tinker with the planting method herself. Previously, she saw a friend planting trees, often using bananas buried in the ground for good plants, because bananas contain a lot of potassium. At that time, she thought why not grind bananas, mix with eggs, incubate flowers and then fertilize the plants. “I have been successful with the organic method of growing plants, using “waste” as manure. Now, no tree can make it difficult for me”, Ms. Nga shared. 
Thanks to the application of the above method, now, Ms. Nga’s orchard is green all year round, and the fruit is sometimes hanging on the branches. 
In addition to using eggs, milk, bananas, soybeans, etc. to make compost, she also uses fish protein, rice bran, cow manure mixed with soapy solution, composting for plants, helping plants avoid pests. bug. 
Ms. Nga also uses micro-organisms, tricodema, smoked rice husks, peanut shells, and oil cakes for growing plants. For fertilizing, it must depend on each type of tree, each stage is suitable, so that the fruit tree is always full of branches. 
On the terrace, Ms. Nga has been growing red flesh dragon fruit for more than a year. The tree has now begun to flower.

Since her two children went to study abroad, there are only husband and wife in the house, so for the most part, Ms. Nga grows many fruit trees.
