‘With the beautiful beach in front of the building and the shadows cast by the many-year-old oak trees, we chose pure white as the main color along with a simple interior for the project. Because it feels like enough…’, shared by Truong An Architecture.
The most beautiful bend of the coastal road in Vung Tau city has recently become full of life with the appearance of a new cafe, with a modern and friendly appearance. Few people know that, before the conversion, this place used to be a mini hotel, with a long façade and terrain with a mountain back, facing the sea.

The prime location that allows to fully enjoy the beach and the changes at all times of the day from dawn, dusk to lights is the biggest emotion leading the architect when designing the project. The entire architecture of the cafe is focused on the sea in order to maximize the views and enhance the beauty of nature in the most vivid way. Balancing the needs of young people, the main target of the shop, and the advantages of the land, the design team has created a variety of seats, where every corner is a different scene, a different sky. The diverse shapes of the doorways are animatedly arranged on a simple block creating pleasing rhythms. Light, shadow, sea surface and green canopies become the main decoration materials of the building. The diverse shapes of the doorways are animatedly arranged on a simple block creating pleasing rhythms. Guests’ emotions are skillfully guided from the porch on the front steps to the windows through the floors and stop at the highest point – where the stairs “connect” between the sky and the sea. Accordingly, the views towards the sea also gradually expand, proportional to the high floors. With such an “extroverted” spirit, the interior of the restaurant simply focuses on comfort and convenience for users with a variety of stylish tables and chairs. Light, shadow, sea surface and green canopies become the main decoration materials of the building. Right in front of the shop is a long-standing beach of local people, bustling in the morning and afternoon, putting the work in a familiar context and rhythm of the coastal city.
