UN Security Council calls for an end to the political crisis in Somalia

Somalia’s president and leaders of the five semi-autonomous states in the country last September reached an agreement that paved the way for presidential and parliamentary elections in late 2020 and early 2021 but This plan was broken by controversy surrounding the voting process and since then many rounds of negotiations have not been held to resolve this deadlock issue.
