Finally, the day has come, the idol with the most beautiful eyes in Korea has reappeared with the image of a freshman student with a bright smile and pained eyes.
Inspired by the famous saying in the original webtoon: “Life is a comedy when viewed from a distance and a tragedy when viewed up close”, the film At A Distance Spring Is Green ( Green Spring from afar ) recreates the life of a “real university student”. People in their 20s, even though they are living the beautiful days of their youth, are struggling and living in a harsh world in the university lecture hall.

Park Ji Hoon plays Yeo Jun, a first-year business administration student at Myongil University, a guy who grew up in a wealthy family and has a friendly relationship with everyone around him. In addition, Kim So Bin (Kang Min Ah) and Nam Soo Hyun (Bae In hyuk), students from the same faculty, will be the male lead’s companions in the university lecture hall and the path of adulthood. In the recently released photos, fans can’t help but marvel at Park Ji Hoon’s radiant and energetic image in the movie. However, his bright smile was accompanied by thoughtful eyes, making the audience curious if Yeo Jun would leave a tragic story behind? Because it seems that Korean movie-addicted audiences seem to have ‘crying all their tears’ for the heartbreaking ending in ‘Youth of May’. Director Kim Jung Hyun, director Green Spring From Afar , explaining the character’s point of view: “Yeo Jun is pure, friendly and always wears a smiling mask when he’s with others, but when he’s alone, he becomes sad and dark when he lets go of his that mask” Actor and idol Park Ji Hoon also said, “I wanted to show my own Yeo Jun, so I researched and analyzed the original character according to my personality color.” New KBS drama 2, Green Spring From Afar (written by Ko Yeon Soo and directed by Kim Jung Hyun), is expected to show not only the story of bright and energetic university students, but also one of the dramas with the theme of School youth conquers domestic and foreign audiences this June. The movie will premiere on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. Starting on June 14, 2021 after Youth of May end.
