Russian nutritionist Elena Kalen has listed healthy foods that will help office workers keep in shape.
Nutrition is always a concern for office workers. Typically, the work of using computers regularly, having a lot of intellectual activity, being sedentary, … makes office workers have many health problems. So it comes as no surprise that they have a lot of health problems including weight gain and snacking habits.

According to Ms. Kalen, the menu should include a green vegetable salad, be it cabbage, scallions, dill, as well as cheese or feta cheese. These foods are rich in fiber, iron and antioxidants, which have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the digestive tract and speed up the metabolism.
In addition, steamed turkey cutlets are also recommended for office workers. Onions, parsley or chili peppers can be added with 500 grams of meat.
“Unlike chicken, turkey has more protein and less fat. They help satisfy hunger for quite a long time. Turkey contains vitamins B, potassium, zinc, selenium, niacin and thiamin, which help protect the body from oxidative stress and affect the metabolic rate, ”said Russian nutritionist on Instagram.
Also, whole grain breads with roasted chicken, butter, natural yogurt, and lettuce are also recommended. Bread contains gut-healthy fiber, avocado helps to satisfy hunger in the long run and promotes weight loss due to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.
A smoothie made from whole-grain oatmeal, banana and natural yogurt will restore the gut microflora, Ms. Kalen added; Celery salad with eggs and fennel will saturate the body with fiber as well as essential amino acids, while also helping to remove excess fluids from the body.
