Due to foot odor, when summer comes, I sweat a lot, so I lack confidence. Although I have cleaned my feet, selected socks, changed shoe insoles… but basically, the foot odor has not improved much. Is there any medicine to put on the smell?

To limit foot odor, hygiene is very important, but it needs to be done properly. First, you need to choose socks made from sweat-absorbing materials that can reduce unpleasant foot odors. Socks should be changed several times a day, replaced socks should be washed and dried in the sun. For shoes, need to be changed every day (at least you should have 2 pairs of shoes to change) every time you change, you should also let the shoes dry, choose shoes with ventilation holes, do not wear shoes made of plastic, rubber, Leatherette… Shoe pads also need to be changed daily. Before putting on socks and shoes, you can use a deodorant spray containing aluminum chloride hexahydrate. This substance can help reduce sweating in the feet, reduce odor and avoid uncomfortable wetness. In addition, this ingredient also has an antibacterial function, helping to reduce the risk of fungal infections and skin inflammation. In addition, you can also use some essential oil products such as mint, cinnamon, green tea… to eliminate odors. If the above measures do not help limit the odor, you need to see a dermatologist for advice, because your foot odor is too severe and will require medical measures. Depending on your condition, your doctor will advise you on how to treat foot odor in one of the following ways: Ion running: With this method, the doctor will give a slight electric current through the feet to reduce the rate of sweaty feet, over time, foot odor will be controlled. Botox injections: This method is applied to people with very strong foot odor. The doctor will use a specialized needle to inject botulium or botox into the foot. While these injections can quickly suppress foot odor, these injections can be painful. This method will limit the odor for about 3-4 months, then the smell will return and you may need to continue to inject to treat.
