IGC inter-school is located on a square and large campus in the center of Tay Ninh city – Vietnam, where there are 2 sides in contact with 2 major roads opening from the Holy See.

The stretch along these two roads creates advantages for the school’s architecture in organizing a lively educational architectural ensemble including many clusters of works for different levels based on the psychology of ages from system from preschool to high school. The design was made from discussions with the educational organization to find a solution for the classroom – a basic and important module for the architectural ensemble to optimize teaching and learning. Light is brought into the classroom in long openings on the wall in areas where the sun gives pleasant light, and it is these openings that also create continuous connections with the vast natural area outside. , where unique landmarks within the context’s ensemble can be observed. The outdoor living and learning courtyards are interwoven in a way that complements the respective inner classrooms. A large and round garden is located in the middle of the preschool architectural block, surrounded by classrooms, function rooms and a large lobby area for children to have a comfortable gathering while playing together. when the gardens open horizontally horizontally are the wide yards reserved for primary and secondary level. Connecting between these two large and long courtyards are functional areas for learning along with a large cafeteria; multi-function hall concurrently with sports activities and indoor performances; art, creative and exhibition rooms… are organized to optimize movement and operation so that learning-related activities take place continuously. In order to adapt to the typical hot and sunny climate of Tay Ninh land, the design team applies the possibilities that can be brought from the corridors moving between rooms and between blocks. These corridors both function and form large terraces that provide pleasant buffers for indoor and outdoor activities, as well as cover and shade for outside activities. outside of classes. With flexible lines that soften the architectural backdrop for activities, these large verandas represent a continuous flow of learning energy that is connected across levels in the complex. . The sprawling feature of the terrain also creates a lively dialogue between the living areas around the gardens – through the center of the road – with the daily activities of households on the other. In the gardens, the space between the houses and the other side is the learning activities of children and students in the garden spaces that open and close flexibly between the classrooms.
