The 3-storey house on Hoang Quoc Viet street, Cau Giay district (Hanoi) with a bad condition has been upgraded with a modern and comfortable appearance.

The original work is a house that has been built for a long time with deteriorated condition, old space, stuffy and pressing. When working with the Sun Concept design team, the homeowner wants the house to be renovated in a modern, fresh and tidy style, with more relaxing space right inside the house. With the wish that the members can gather together a lot to bond with feelings, the entire ground floor is reserved for common living spaces. The living room has a large area, neatly decorated with the main neutral colors, combined with light wooden cabinets to bring a warm and luxurious feeling. The kitchen and dining area are quite spacious by the owner. The whole ground floor area is arranged with recessed ceiling lights throughout to ensure adequate light output. Separating the living room and the kitchen, the dining area is a stylized closet with soft curves, adding an accent to the space. The kitchen is tidy and comfortable with full appliances, large white and wood color cabinets for convenient storage of furniture. Bedroom on the first floor is designed in a modern and simple style with cozy wooden colors. Large glass doors help to maximize natural light and wind circulation inside the room. The balcony is enlarged, arranged with benches and tables to make a relaxing place. A special feature of the balcony is the upper roof, made from dry rattan, woven together. This way both creates a highlight and can block the sun while ensuring the amount of light needed. The second floor has a modern designed bedroom. This is a room for the owner’s son, so the tone is neutral, showing strength. The space is neat, decorated only the necessary furniture and still has large doors and balconies to ensure the room is always airy and cool, bright enough and windy. After the homeowner spent 2 billion dong on remodeling, the house is more spacious, airy and tidy than before, with no redundant details. The colors and interior inside are also in harmony and with the family’s aesthetic.
