Level 1: This is the mildest level of intoxication, the person may not feel the obvious signs. Sometimes it will be confused with other skin problems. Usually, people infected with corticosteroids only feel mild itching on the skin at this stage. Grade 2: The condition of the skin has become worse. The skin appears blisters and spreads all over the face. These blisters then burst, leading to a skin infection. Level 3: The stage of dilatation of blood vessels under the skin. The patient always feels hot on the skin, especially when exposed to the sun or near hot areas. The face is swollen due to the accumulation of water and pus in the skin, and the pain is more intense. Level 4: The condition of the skin accumulating water and pus is more severe. In addition, the patient will feel the heat, burning more and more continuously than before. Grade 5: This is the most severe stage of the disease, named the irritant dermatitis stage. At this point, the blisters and pus have begun to peel and ooze outside, feeling terrible pain. Signs of skin infection with corticosteroids. Steps to treat and restore skin Corticosteroid-infected skin can be completely improved, but the extent of skin recovery depends on the health and condition of each person’s skin. Moreover, the patient must be very patient and careful. The disease can be completely cured if detected early and the patient follows the treatment process properly. The steps below apply only to the case of using the cream mix for less than 1 year, the less time used, the higher the possibility of cure and recovery. In case of using a cream containing corticosteroids for a longer time, it is necessary to follow a separate treatment regimen of a dermatologist. Reducing and spacing out the frequency of using products containing corticosteroids: The principle is to slowly wean off so that the skin can adapt, so limit the application of the cream and gradually reduce the duration of application, until it is completely stopped. The time for each reduction in the number of applications is about 1-2 weeks. If you stop applying it suddenly, the skin will become worse, more acne-prone, itchy, dry, very uncomfortable. You can use acne medication, but only as prescribed by your doctor. Absolutely do not go to the spa to squeeze acne, it will be very easy to pit your face. You should let the acne break and pick it up gently. Do not take any more antibiotics or acne medications, because once the acne flares up, it will come up again. Care and protect the skin carefully during the treatment: Skin protection is a very important step to support the treatment. Because during the treatment, the skin becomes very weak and sensitive, the patches of peeling and blisters are dense. If you are not careful and protect the skin carefully, bacteria will easily penetrate, causing the skin to become infected. This interferes with the regeneration and healing process, if more severe, it will cause the skin to die. It is recommended to use a cleanser specifically for acne-sensitive skin, usually in the form of a non-foaming or very mild foaming milk cream, with a skin-friendly pH (between 5.0 and 6.0) to avoid causing dryness, use 2 times /day in the morning and evening. Do not use oily, foamy or granular cleansers because it can easily irritate the skin. If the skin is too weak, with blood veins, peeling skin, itching and discomfort, daily use of 0.9% sodium chloride physiological saline should be used to wash your face. Salt has the effect of reducing inflammation, reducing itching, antiseptic, removing dead skin … The most basic thing is to use sunscreen, cover it carefully when going out or in a dusty environment. The sunscreen and skin care products that doctors recommend are those for sensitive skin with SPF 30-50. Detoxify the skin: You should boil green tea leaves and drink daily instead of filtered water, then wash your face with that tea. Green tea has antibacterial, acne treatment and detoxifies very well. You can replace green tea by drinking lettuce or lemonade without sugar, or drinking detox tea, or detox tea. In addition, you should also steam 1-2 times per week to push out impurities in the skin and unclog pores. Should use perilla + marjoram + wormwood, or lemongrass + ginger, if picky, add a pinch of salt and half a lemon… All put in a pot to boil and then sit with a pot covered with a blanket or a large towel in the pot. for about 15 minutes or until the heat is gone. Mask to restore skin: Apply a mask 1-2 times a week with turmeric powder + honey + yogurt (or fresh milk). Also can use mask cucumber, bitter melon, tomato, green tea… Weak skin should not leave the mask on the face for too long, only 5-10 minutes. And if the skin is too thin and weak, then skip the mask, because the powder particles can make the thin skin more damaged.
